Pennsylvania College of Technology held its Winter Commencement ceremony Dec. 22 at the Community Arts Center in downtown Williamsport. The student speaker for the 11 a.m. ceremony was Travis J. Clawson, of Clarksburg, who received a bachelor’s degree in computer information technology-Internetworking application development from the School of Business and Computer Technologies. Also speaking was Robert G. Bowers, a since-retired professor of mathematics who received the Veronica M. Muzic Master Teacher Award in May. During the ceremony, President Davie Jane Gilmour presented Alumni Citizenship/Humanitarian Awards and was joined by Birch B. Phillips Jr. of the college's Board of Directors as she conferred degrees and certificates upon more than 400 graduates.
