Crissy Matter, Director of Food Services

Crissy Matter

As director, Crissy is responsible for all food service operations within the department. She supervises the staff and management team to ensure that Penn College students and staff have a pleasant dining experience and that all established policies and procedures are carried out in meeting that goal.

Rick Wyland, Assistant Director of Food Services

Rick Wyland

Rick is the daytime manager of the Susquehanna Room facility. He manages all the staff responsible for breakfast and lunchtime meal periods. Feel free to ask Rick if you should have any questions about your meal or any of the food service operations.

Janet is the evening manager of the Susquehanna Room. She manages the staff responsible for the dinner meal period. Ask to speak with Janet if you have any questions about evening operations.

Vicki Killian

Vicki is the day manager for all the Campus Center and Bookmark Cafe operations, including CC Commons and the Wildcat Express. Ask to speak with Vicki if you have any questions about any of the Campus Center units.

Noelle Verdini

Noelle is responsible for coordinating and planning special events within the dining areas as well as assisting groups with student related activities. If you are interested in a catered event by Food Services, please contact Noelle.

Cheryl assists the management team with the day operations in the Campus Center units along with Child Care food service. Call upon her if you have any questions about the Campus Center operations.

Rhonda is responsible for weekend operations in the CC Commons and assists the management team in the evenings and with the operations of Penn Central. Contact Rhonda if you have questions dealing with Penn Central or weekend service in CC Commons.

Mary Kay Wakefield

Mary Kay is the on-site liaison at Nature's Cove in the Earth Science Center. She assists the management team with the daily operations of this unit. Contact the Mary Kay if you have questions regarding Nature's Cove.

Sam Morgante

Sam is responsible for the successful culinary operations for the Food Services department including creating menus, working with the head cooks from each kitchen, maintaining safe food and sanitation practices and implementing trends within the food service culinary industry.

Joe Mignano

Joe works in the Susquehanna Room kitchen and makes sure that daily menu items are prepared and ready for the Susquehanna Room and Wrapture.

Eileen Ambrose

Eileen works in the Campus Center kitchen and makes sure that daily menu items are prepared and ready for CC Commons, Bookmarks Café and the Wildcat Express. She also oversees meal preperation for the Children’s Learning Center.

Judi Barr, CBord System Operator / Meal Plans

Judi Barr

Judi is often your first contact in the Food Services department. She oversees all aspects of our CBORD system which includes meal plan accounts and unit cash registers. She also performs secretarial duties for the director of the department. If you have a question about a meal plan account or would like to speak to our Food Services Director, contact Judi.

Amy Lingg, Marketing Assistant

Amy Lingg

Amy produces marketing materials for the Food Services department to advertise special events, dining units and meal plans. She also speaks to perspective students and parents and current student groups about meal plans and options within food services.  You can also contact Amy if you wish to purchase a Wildcat Wishes gift package.

Bernadine Welickovitch, Purchasing Agent

Bernadine Welickovitch

Bernadine is responsible for overseeing the ordering and inventory of food products and general supplies. In addition to acting as a liaison between product vendors, she also ensures that recipes are written in accordance to HACCP and are entered in the Food Service menu system.

Lenny Dincher

Lenny is responsible for assisting the purchasing agent in ordering and inventory of food products and general supplies for the department. He also assists the shipping and receiving clerks as needed.

Vicki is responsible for accounts payables and rebates for all purchases through the department.

Cathy Michael, Recruitment and Training

Cathy Michael

Cathy specifically is in charge of recruiting and training employees to become part of our Food Services Team. She works with new employees during their hiring and training process and continues the training process through employment.  If you have a question about employment within the department, please contact Cathy.
