Workforce Development & Continuing Education Activity (July 1, 2007 - June 30, 2008)
Noncredit workforce development instruction:
- 3,128 students trained in open enrollment courses
- 2,013 students trained in contracted corporate courses
- 5,141 total noncredit students trained
Over $1.6 million in grant-funded training currently being administered to train over 12,661 students in 135 Pennsylvania organizations. Through Pennsylvania's Guaranteed Free Training Program, WDCE administered 2,595 grants to train over 108,000 workers for a total of $19.6 million.
Community Arts Center
Since opening in May 1993 the Community Arts Center has hosted 134,687 patrons for movies and 885,190 for live events for a total of 1,014,877 as of August 22, 2008.
