Penn College alumnus Nathaniel L. Baum, who holds degrees in landscape/nursery technology (2003) and technology management (2005), is featured in a recent article in the (Lancaster) Sunday News. The article touts the energy- and cost-saving benefits of a reflective roof coating at the Lititz headquarters of Susquehanna Bancshares Inc., where Baum is facility supervisor. While at Penn College, Baum was honored as "Resident Assistant of the Year" in 2005, served as president of the National Residence Hall Honorary (an organization recognizing the top 1 percent of students living on campus), was a Student Government Association senator, and was inducted into Alpha Chi (the honor society for baccalaureate-degree students), Phi Theta Kappa (an international society for academic achievement), and Sigma Beta Delta (an honor society for business students).'Operation Snowflake' to Connect Students With Community, Alumni
